One of the most meaningful ways to grow in faith and in community is to serve. There are heaps of ways to get involved at Dianella Church, from welcoming guests on Sunday to running tech, caring for kids, or making music. Every bit of serving helps create the environment where people encounter God and find community.
Why serve?
We don’t serve to earn anything. We serve because we’ve been served. Jesus said he came not to be served but to serve, and that shapes how we want to live together.
Serving is also one of the best ways to feel at home. There’s something about showing up week after week alongside the same people that turns acquaintances into real friends.
Where you can get involved
Welcome and Hosting
Be the first face people see. Our welcome team sets the tone for the whole community.
Kids and Youth Ministry
Help shape the faith of the next generation. Training is provided, and it’s genuinely rewarding work.
Worship and Music
Use your musical gifts to lead others in worship. We have teams across both congregations.
Audio Visual and Tech
Keep Sunday running smoothly behind the scenes. Sound, lighting, streaming, and presentation.
Hospitality
Make people feel genuinely welcome. Help with setup, morning tea, and shared meals.
Set up and pack down
Preparing the space for God’s people to worship takes some work. But we wouldn’t be here without it.
Prayer Team
Pray for and with people before, during, and after services. Quiet but vital.
