Come as you are.
Christians have always gathered around meals, worship and sharing in scripture together. At Gather, we are discovering the beautiful simplicity of sharing life centred around Jesus. We come as we are, messy and beautiful, finding welcome, acceptance and a new spiritual family.
Join us on Sundays at 4.30pm at 68 Waverley Street, Dianella. You don’t need to dress up, know the songs, or have it all figured out. Just come.
What to expect
Gather is about exploring how your family can nurture their souls in the busyness of everyday life, closing the weekend with gentle connection, and preparing our hearts for the new week.
As we gather around Christ, we are refreshed and re-energised with purpose, ready to carry the hope of Jesus into our families, workplaces, and community in the week ahead.
Here is a picture of what a typical Sunday afternoon looks like:
A warm welcome that feels like family.
You’ll be greeted by people who genuinely want to know you. Parents arrive with kids, older adults find instant connection, and teenagers can discover a place they actually enjoy being.
A relaxed, life‑giving service.
Gather begins with everyone together — families, kids, teens, and adults — worshipping in a way that’s accessible, unhurried, and real. Children are free to sit with parents or with friends, and there’s space for them to share, participate, and belong.
Worship, teaching, and ministry that refreshes you for the week.
We share in musical worship, Scripture, storytelling and prayer with a focus on cultivating depth, not performance — helping you meet with God and be equipped for daily life.
Sometimes we get creative.
From time to time we like to explore Christian spirituality through storytelling, wondering, creativity, and through serving our community. Check out our ‘What’s On’ to find out what to expect this Sunday.
A shared meal that feels like home.
We eat together every week, remembering the meals Jesus shared with his people. Some of us bring food, others bring an appetite — there’s always enough. It’s simple, joyful, and reminds us that we belong to one another.
A community where everyone contributes.
From stacking chairs to washing dishes, people pitch in as they’re able. Families with young kids can duck out early; others stay and serve. It’s all part of the rhythm of shared life.

Welcome Lunch
A regular, casual lunch for anyone new to Gather or to Christianity. No pressure, just good food and good company. Come and get to know us a bit better. Reach out on a contact form for details of the next Welcome Lunch.
Find a Group
We gather in small groups called ‘Shared Tables’ during the week, where food, faith and life are all on the table! Get in touch and we can help you find yours.
Get Involved
Help with setup, hospitality, kids, or music! Bring some food to contribute. Help with the dishes. There’s always a way to contribute.
Generosity is an act of worship.
