OUR STORY
Rooted in Dianella.
Dianella Church has been part of this neighbourhood since the area was first developed in the 1960s. It has grown, shifted shape, and been formed by the people who have called it home. What it is today is the result of a lot of faithful, ordinary work over a long period of time.
Where we’ve come from
Living Grace has been gathering on Sunday mornings in Dianella for over 50 years. It has always valued the richness of smaller, vibrant communities built around worship, friendship, and growth.
Gather launched in 2026 as a Sunday afternoon congregation, growing out of a desire to create a new expression of church in the same neighbourhood.
Why We Exist
We exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to be a blessing to our city. Everything else flows from that.
We believe the church is at its best when it is deeply embedded in its local community, taking the love and truth of Jesus into the everyday spaces of life. We want to be that kind of church in Dianella.
Where We’re Going
We take the long view. We’re building slowly, faithfully, and with care for the generations that will come after us. We’re committed to this neighbourhood, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead.
